Dr. Shakti Sharma trained in
Dermatology at the University of Toronto and is a Board
Certified Dermatologist in both Canada, as a Fellow of the
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and the
United States, as a Diplomate of the American Board of
Dermatology. After completion of Dermatology residency, she
did surgical fellowship for one year in Buffalo, at Roswell
Park Cancer Institute where she trained for Mohs Surgery
(Skin cancers surgery and reconstructive surgery). She is
also a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and
Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology and Dermatologic
Surgery and Canadian Dermatology Association.
Her major interests involve skin cancers, minor surgical
procedures involving face and other parts of the body with
fine plastic surgical techniques and non-invasive cosmetic
rejuvenation techniques. This includes Botox injections,
dermal fillers, lip augmentation, Melasma (hyperpigmentation
of face), sclerotherapy, and advanced laser services eg
(Ablative resurfacing, Non-ablative Resurfacing, non-
surgical face-lifts with skin tightening RadioFrquency
Techniques, Rosacea, Spider veins and Cherry Angiomas, hair
removal, intense pulsed light photorejuvenation, laser vein
removal, Isolaz Acne Laser Therapy). Dr. Sharma and her
